Chunuk Bair Service

The Governor-General, Hon Sir Anand Satyanand, spoke at the New Zealand National Service at Chunuk Bair on 25 April 2009.  After the service, the Governor-General and Lady Satyanand met some of the New Zealanders who had travelled to Turkey to attend the Gallipoli Commemorations.  They included Jodine Sheppard (who is pictured holding the two kiwi soft toys), Richard Sharp (pictured between the Governor-General and Lady Satyanand) and Tony Sharp (far left behind Ms Sheppard).
