Kiwi creche opening

  • <span class="title">Kiwi creche</span><br/>Mrs Susan Satyanand officially opened the Opouahi Kiwi Creche in the Hawke's Bay on 19 March 2008. The 40ha facility, behind a 3.3km predator-proof fence, allows young brown kiwi to grow to a size that they can fend off stoats and are able to be re-released into the Kaweka Forest Park.
