Speaker Confirmation Ceremony

Hon Dr Lockwood Smith was sworn in as Speaker of the House of Representatives by Governor-General, Hon Anand Satyanand, at a ceremony at Parliament on 8 December 2008. The ceremony was held in the Legislative Council Chamber as Government House was closed for a three year conservation project.
