In 2007, the Governor-General, Hon Anand Satyanand, and Mrs Susan Satyanand, made several visits to the Pacific islands. In July and August 2007, they made formal visits to Tokelau and the Cook Islands, which are part of the Realm of New Zealand, and Samoa. In May, they attended the State Funeral for the Head of State of Samoa and in April they made a formal visit to Niue, which is part of the Realm of New Zealand.
